Summer Activity Guide
For four years in a row I have created a 12 page booklet to promote the Mobile Public Library’s summer program. I created them in InDesign without using a template. Elements were created/modified in Illustrator and Photoshop. Pages 10 and 11 are always my favorite.
Library Connections
I am responsible for laying out the Library Connections: The Mobile Public Library Newsletter. I created the first of this iteration of the library newsletter in 2018 based on the template found here: https://www.bestindesigntemplates.com/newsletter/political-newsletter-tabloid/.
The Spring 2019 issue won the 2020 PR Xchange award for External Communications in the budget category of $5-$10 million.

MPL By the Numbers
I have created the graphical annual report of the Mobile Public Library since 2016. This eye-catching, easily understood document has proved a valuable resource for our Director when talking to stakeholders in our local governments. I wanted to make our most important statistics prominent and also to give context to those numbers. For example, I want to make sure the Councilperson who looks at this understands that the number of our cardholders accounts for a third of our county population.
This most recent design is based on a template found in LibraryAware that I recreated in Canva so that it could be customize for our use. It is posted on the library’s website on the Annual Report webpage along with text for ADA compliance.
